Shortly after they left Singapore for Bali, the Flying Classroom crossed an invisible line circling the middle of the Earth called the Equator. The Equator divides the Northern Hemisphere from the Southern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons are opposite. When it's fall and winter in the United States, it's spring and summer in Australia.
Temperatures in the Flying Classroom's first stop, Darwin, are expected to reach highs close to 100°F! Things should cool off in Sydney on Australia's southeastern coast before the Flying Classroom turns around to head back home.
